The library boasts of its varied collections of books, journals, special collections, audiovisual materials, local and international databases of medical abstracts and bibliographies, and the Electronic Medical Research and Library Database System (EMERALDS ‘71). EMERALDS is a database software of information on medical and other related fields. It is a P6-million dream project of UPM Class 1971 realized through a P3.68-million class donation and a P2.6-million allocation from the CDF of Senator Franklin Drilon. The Medical Library currently subscribes to ClinicalKey, Access Medicine (McGrawHill e-book collections), Medical Teacher Journal, etc.

Mission Statement

The library, being academic, aims to provide and meet the various needs of the four categories of its users namely: students, faculty, researchers and non-teaching staff. It also coordinates with the University Library and other Administrative Services of Unit Libraries.
